10% Off Sale for US orders

I'm offering a 10% Off sale, starting today, only for orders placed on my web site and shipping to a US address. Why the discount? My sales are down due to the current economic uncertainty from inflation, tariffs and the war.

To get the discount, visit my site's online store and place either LinnStrument model in your shopping cart, then enter "10off" into the "coupon code" field to lower the price. The normal free shipping is included. This sale will continue until my inventory returns to normal levels, whenever that happens.

LinnStrumentalist Videos

Here are some recent LinnStrumement videos that I like.

First is from Jeremy Cubert, one of my favorite LinnStrumentalists. In this one, his sound source is the Eagan Matrix in the Slim21 Continuum that's behind the LinnStrument in the video.

This next video is from Chris Guichet, whose company Sound Workshop makes the "Speedbumpy" alternate playing surface for LinnStrument, which he's playing on in this video. Other than being a talented designer, I like the subtlety of his expressive touch control in this video, playing "Amazing Grace". This video was made about 9 months ago, but it may be new to many of you.

The next one is from Juhani Haverinen of Finland, whose YouTube name is "inffih". It uses acoustic guitar and Stratocaster sounds, and I like the rhythmic way he plays the lines against the drums.

The last one is from Jeff Hopkins, using the synth Kontrast from Dawesome Music, a synth I wasn't aware of but which sounds good to my ears. I enjoy Jeff's composition and how expressively he plays Kontrast's sounds:

The Making Of LinnStrument

Here's a video that newer LinnStrument owners may not have seen: "The Making Of LinnStrument". In the video, I discuss my reasons for creating LinnStrument, and what the development process entailed. I also discuss how I used low-cost tools in the development process, which hopefully may inspire others to do something similar. The reward is in the journey!

Looking for a used LinnStrument?

Given the current economic uncertainty, I'm seeing more registrations of used purchases, which can offer good savings over a new unit. If you are considering buying a used LinnStrument, ask for the serial number then visit my "Buying Used" page, located both under the Where to Buy menu and also as a link on the LinnStrument Support page. It tells you which hardware improvements were added over the years, and on which starting serial number. Then you can check my online store to see the cost of any replacement parts you may wish to get to bring the used unit up to current specifications. And all LinnStruments can be updated to the current software version for free.

Also, be sure to register your used purchase using the link near the top of the LinnStrument Support page. If so, I'll be happy to transfer any remaining warranty to you, and give you a free license for Bitwig 8-Track DAW software.
