Dear SJPS families,

This upcoming week, February 22nd through the 26th, we will be hosting an accreditation

team at our site. COVID has changed the procedures just a bit. Two co-chairs along with one of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Office of Schools Assistant Superintendents will be at our school. The other members of the review team will remain at their own sites, accessing and reviewing our digital portfolio online.

Why do we have an accreditation team coming to our school?

Every seven years, we go through an accreditation process. The year before the visit, each school does an intensive self study. We work together to identify our strengths and weaknesses and self score ourselves in 4 Domain areas that cover 73 standards. The Domains include Mission and Catholic Identity, Governance and Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Operational Vitality. The purpose of the team visit is to validate, analyze, and provide feedback to assist us with achieving our mission and providing the best education possible for our students.

Please pray for us that we continue to work toward achieving our mission for St. Jerome Parish School. We are ready to help our students journey toward being Christ-centered, service minded, servant leaders of tomorrow!

Reminder that there is no school on Friday, February 26th. This day is set aside for our teachers to participate in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee's Sustaining the Mission classes. Sustaining the Mission is continuing religious education for Catholic school teachers in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. We continue to grow in our journey to loving Jesus with our whole hearts.

Enroll your child in TADS for the 2021-2022 School Year

Classes are filling up!

We have no idea where we will be with COVID and the virus for next year, but if we are in the position where we need to begin the school year with the same mitigation in place (plexiglass across the front of the room for teachers and student desks 6 feet apart), we will need to continue to limit classroom capacity according to our plan. Once each class reaches capacity, a waiting list will be established. To be considered on a wait list, enrollment in TADS will need to be completed and registration fee paid.

We want to continue to be transparent and communicate the urgency to enroll. Based on our current 2020-21 enrollment, our projected class sizes for next year's 2nd, 5th, and 7th grade classes could be close to capacity. If you would like to secure your child's seat please complete your enrollment for next year soon. We would love to be able to open additional classrooms but we need time to plan! The 3K class for next fall only has openings for Tuesday/Thursday at this time.

8th Grade Fundraisers

Mod Pizza - February 25

The 8th grade class will be having a fundraiser at Mod Pizza on Thursday, Feb, 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. They will get 20% of all sales that day. Please mention the fundraiser (or put the promo code QR178058S into the online or app order) The code or the fundraiser must be mentioned or they will not get the credit.
