Dear Zion Families,
Zion Family,
As we bring our 2022-2023 school year to a close, it is exciting to reflect on
all that has taken place this year. There have been smiles and tears,
laughter and fun, new friendships developed, and old friendships
strengthened. Our 2022-2023 school year theme was “All Things Grow with
Love.” The more we love, the more we grow. Jesus tells us to love one
another. Even when things are difficult or times are tough, always show love
and you will grow as a person and as a believer.
As we continue the enrollment process for our 2023-2024 school year, the
Zion Lutheran School Board, faculty, and staff at Zion want to express our
sincere appreciation to each parent and family who has entrusted us with
the care and education of their child. It is our goal to prepare students to
positively impact our world. We strive to educate, nurture, and share the
love of Jesus Christ with each child every day. We thank you for your
partnership and the sacrifices you make to give your child a Christian
education.
We look forward to the beginning of a new school year starting Monday,
August 21, 2023. Our school theme for the 2023-2024 school year is: "On
Fire for Christ" 2 Timothy 6-7 says, ‘For this reason, I remind you to fan into
flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love
and self-discipline.’
We wish God’s richest blessings to our 8th-grade graduates who graduate
on Thursday, May 25th. These students are: Miles Fenn, Isabella Fujimoto, Conway Ho, Grace Huchel, Amaris Mendez, and Noah Wons.
We are proud to share that this year’s 8th-grade valedictorian is Grace
Huchel and our salutatorian is Isabella Fujimoto.
Congratulations, Class of 2023! On behalf of our teachers and staff, thank
you for all of your achievements in the classroom and service to our school
and community. We thank you for your love and support of Zion Lutheran
Church and School. May you continue to grow in faith and love in your
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Again, we appreciate and thank you, our Zion Families, for your prayers
and support as we prepare for the 2023-2024 school year!
Please feel free to contact the school office with any questions. The office
will remain open throughout the summer Monday-Thursday from 9:00 AM
until 3:00 PM. Again, thank you for placing your trust in Zion Lutheran
School.
May God bless you all with a wonderful, relaxing, and peaceful summer!
