Zion’s School Mission: “Teaching Christ and Serving Families.” The school shares Christ by teaching students about Christ and changes lives by serving the school families.
Our vision is that all students will experience God’s love and forgiveness and learn to show that same forgiveness to others. Students will be safe, responsible, and respectful to themselves and others, and achieve academically to the best of their ability.

A Message from the Principal

Dear Zion Families,

Zion students and teachers are AMAZING!!! As I visit our classrooms throughout the week, I have an opportunity to see our teachers in action. I must say, our teachers never cease to impress me. Not only do they use various effective teaching methods to provide a robust learning experience for their students, but they have also worked hard at creating a sense of

community and belonging in their classrooms. Thank you, Zion Teachers, for your dedication to education and to Zion Lutheran School!

Our students are just as amazing as our teachers! With the 1st quarter under wraps, I’d like to express how proud I am of the hard work that our students are putting into their education. Keep up the great things you are doing, Zion Lion Students! You make me proud!!!

Blessings on your week!

Mrs. Lyles

It’s time to participate in our annual service project, Operation Christmas Child. We are asking that each family pack a box to bless a child in need. Each shoebox should include hygiene items, school supplies, and toys/activities. Please pack your box for a child of similar age and gender as your student. Boxes will be sent home this week with the necessary instructions inside. Please return your boxes to your child's classroom by Monday, November 13th. These boxes will travel throughout the world, sharing the gospel news while blessing these children with things that they don’t have.

You can also check out the Samaritan's Purse website for additional information regarding the Operation Christmas Child project. If you need ideas of gifts to pack in your shoebox please check the list of suggested items.

Parent Participation Hours

Your support is important to us. Families not choosing to participate in the 30 hours per year will be charged $10.00 for each non-served hour. Fees will be charged at the end of each semester. Eighth-grade parents will be charged at the end of the first semester and at the beginning of May. It is not the primary intent of this program to charge families with fees, but rather to see families involved in the programs and activities.

All Parent volunteer opportunities may be found in the weekly Lion's Tale.
