“TODAY OUR LITTLEST ONE THAT GOES TO THE PRESCHOOL WAS ALMOST HIT!” (Zion Parent)
The Zion Church and School parking lot can sometimes the cause safety problems. We need to be diligent as drivers and parents about the safety rules that we have in place. Schedules can cause drivers to make hurried decisions and at times unsafe decisions with their automobiles. School parking lots are crowded and our little ones are still learning to follow the parking lot rules. ie not darting out in front of cars, staying with parents while in the parking lot, etc. cars. Always remember that parking lots can be very difficult and frustrating. Be safe, model safe behavior, and be part of the solution. Please follow our safety rules to keep all of our students safe when they are dropped off and picked up from school every day.
- Drive at a safe speed through the parking lot.
- Watch out for children darting into traffic.
- Please follow the flow of traffic as indicated by the direction arrows painted on the asphalt in the parking lot.
- Park in parking spots and do not block other cars or driveways even for "just a couple of minutes."
Should you choose to use Cypress Street:
-
Travel in a west to east direction only and follow the loop around back to
East St.
- Do Not Park in the coned area before or after school.
- Respect our neighbors by not honking or trespassing on their property, or blocking driveways.
- Remember the Street Sweeper comes on Monday mornings around 8:30 A.M. Do Not Park On Cypress St.

Hi Neighbors and Welcome!

From The Anaheim Fall Festival
and Halloween Parade Committee
| |
Zion Church, Elementary, and Preschool are so excited that the Fall Festival and Halloween Parade will return this year!
We are very excited to be a part of both. We have decided on a craft to share with the visitors at the Zion Fall Festival Booth and we are in the process of coming up with our parade concept.
In the Zion booth at the Fall Festival, we will need to provide a craft for 500- 600 children. We will also need volunteers to help greet the children and parents stopping by the Zion Booth.
How can you help?
- Volunteer to staff the Zion Booth at the Fall Festival. We need 2 adults at all times to greet and help children with the craft. (See sign-up schedule link below)
- Volunteer to help with the Parade Float or be a part of the parade. More details coming soon. Click on the email link to get more details or to be part of the Parade
*Zion School parent volunteers will receive parent participation hours.
