Lions Karate is hosting 2 upcoming tournaments on Saturday, October 3rd and Saturday, November 7th. Our tournament size continues to grow each year and our awards continue to improve as well! These tournaments will be our unveiling of our Traveling Trophies for the Grand Champions and Best Supporting School! Please contact Mr. Steve Hanford with any questions.

October 3rd - Syracuse, IN
Lions Karate is hosting a tournament on Saturday, October 3rd beginning at NOON (YES, we mean NOON!!!) at the Wawasee Middle School. Pre-register to save $5! Last year due to the number of competitors, we broke up the divisions from 101 divisions, up to 140 divisions!!! This will be a FUN & FAIR tournament! Not everyone will win, but hopefully the competitors that win 1st place will train harder to stay on top, and those that didn't win 1st place will train harder to win 1st next time!

November 7th - Fort Wayne, IN
Lions Karate is hosting a tournament on Saturday, November 7th beginning at NOON (YES, we mean NOON!!!) at the Fort Wayne War Memorial Coliseum. Pre-register to save $10! We are teaming up with the Fort Wayne Health & Fitness Expo to host this great event. This will be a FUN & FAIR tournament! Not everyone will win, but hopefully the competitors that win 1st place will train harder to stay on top, and those that didn't win 1st place will train harder to win 1st next time!



Best Supporting Schools
Last year we had multiple schools bring 20+ students and we look forward to that again!!! This year we want to truly show our appreciation to those schools and send them home with some awesome awards to show off at their school. 
This year we will have a 6' Best Supporting School and 4' Best Supporting School Runner-Up trophy. PLUS the Best Supporting School will have their name engraved in the traveling trophy that they will bring back to defend the following year!

Traveling Trophies 
Show History
Lions Karate will be giving away our regular 36" Grand Champion trophies, PLUS these AWESOME Traveling Trophies!!!! Every year the winner will bring back this trophy and we will have his/her name engraved on it. They will defend their title. These will show the history of the champions and best supporting schools over the next 20+ years.

Looking back, I would love to take my students to a tournament and show them my name on a Grand Champion trophy that they will have the opportunity to earn. 

Open House
Lions Karate is hosting an open house on Saturday, September, 12th from 10am-1pm and everyone is invited. Pizza and Pop will be provided. Come see our updates to the facility, our Karate Kid mural (painted by one of our Jr. Black Belts), along with all our new equipment. 

Introductory Classes
Lions Karate is offering 4 week introductory classes along with a FREE uniform for only $25. These classes are on Wednesdays beginning October 7th with 5:00-6:00pm or 6:30-7:30pm class times available.
