Middle School Lock In!

The middle school is having a lock-in January 25th-26th!

the lock in starts at 7:30 pm on Friday and is over Saturday at 7:30 am. Each class is responsible for bringing a food item. 5th and 6th graders need to bring drinks- not 2 liters. 7th and 8th graders bring snacks! You may bring one friend as well. Let the student leadership team know if you can make it!

National Lutheran schools week

National Lutheran Schools week is January 28- February 3rd. Each day has a special theme and also a dress up day! On February 3rd, the students will be singing at Zions Church service at 9 am. Each day there will be a fun activity that coordinates with the theme of the day. Your teachers will let you know what cool thing you get to do for the day!

Themes and Dress up days:

Monday: Real Places- Career day

Tuesday: Real Time- Decades day (Example: 20's, 70's, 80's, 90's)

Wednesday: Real People- Dress like a teacher day

Thursday: Real Grace- Sports day

Friday: Real Praise- Dress up day

Sunday: Real Praise

Chapel Offerings:

This month we will be doing a food drive for our chapel offerings. Bring non-perishable to your classroom. Each teacher has a box to collect. We will be weighing the boxes every week to see how we are doing! We will be taking the total weight to Lutheran Elementary School Tournament to see what school brought in the most food! The food that we collect will go to St, Mary's Church down the road from us. They have a food pantry that is always in need of food. Thank you for supporting Zion and our local community!
