Principals' Message

We hope you enjoyed the break and are as excited as we are about returning for this second semester, via Zoom or in person. We also hope that you enjoyed the time with family and the beautiful weather.

While 2020 was challenging, let’s bring into the new year all the positives and let’s continue to foster IB learner profile traits that will continue to carry us through all challenges and adversities we may face in 2021.

As a community, let us be caring by building one another up; let us grow in our open mindedness and let us remember that each new year brings us the opportunity to begin anew and try again. Even if you aren’t a person who does new year resolutions, we wish you all the best in the year ahead. We missed you during the break and look forward to the experiences that lay ahead!
Report Cards

Due to technical issues with the Ascender portal, Timely Work Completion comments for many classes did not save properly and will not appear on the report card. If you have questions about your child’s Timely Work Completion, please contact the appropriate teachers. Grades for the 2nd quarter and 1st semester are available in the Ascender Parent Portal. Report cards will be available in the Ascender parent portal next week, and a paper copy will be sent home with students who are currently on campus.

Student-designed IB Learner Profile Traits T-Shirt and Sweatshirt
Our High School Design students have designed logos to represent the IB learner profile traits. Students then voted on their favorite logo for each trait, which are represented on a T-shirt and sweatshirt produced by the the Design department. The shirt is approved Meridian spirit wear and is for sale, with proceeds benefiting the Meridian Design Department.

Parent Survey

For grant purposes, Meridian School is asked to share parental involvement in meetings for the 2020-2021 school year. We appreciate your help in filling out the form below noting which, if any, meetings you have attended this year via Zoom.

Take a minute to fill out the survey. Thank you!
Health and Safety Reminder

As always, it takes our community working together to maintain our health and safety.

Thank you for continuing to remind your students to wear masks over the nose and mouth at all times, and encouraging frequent hand washing/sanitizing. Remind students not to share food or beverages, as well.

We follow the CDC's guidelines for quarantine instructions. Anyone who has been in sustained contact for 15 minutes (within 6 feet) with a person who has tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19, with or without masks on, will be asked to stay home and quarantine.

Our nursing staff work as contact tracers to quickly identify and notify people thought to have come in contact with positive cases.

You can find updated information on positive cases on our COVID-19 information page.
