Principal's Message

We are excited to have all grades on campus starting October 5! The phase in period with fewer grades on campus has allowed us to refine our procedures, and we are looking forward to next week!
All Grades (6th-12th) On Campus Next Week

On Oct. 5, 8th through 10th grade students will join us on campus, so that we will have all grades in 6th through 12th! Please remember that, although you may drop off as early as 7:30 am, if you are able to wait until after 8 am, please do so to reduce crowding.

Please see here for Return to Campus Guidelines (which includes the school supply lists).

For details on health and safety, review our Return to Campus Protocols.

Reminder on After School Carline

Orange & Blue Lines: If you show up to secondary carline early, before 4 pm (1:30 pm on Wednesday), line up in the Orange Line. After secondary carline has started (4 pm / 1:30 pm), you may choose either Orange or Blue line, whichever is shortest. Ultimately, both merge and pick up in the same area, in the right hand lane in front of the primary building.

Green Line: No changes from before.

Updated Mask-Wearing Information

The CDC does not recommend, and Meridian does not allow, the use of masks with exhalation valves or vents. Masks with one-way valves or vents allow air to be exhaled through a hole in the material, which can result in expelled respiratory droplets that can reach others.

The CDC shares a great infographic with details.

Daily Morning Check-In Action: Health Screen
Parents: if your child attends on-campus instruction, remember to fill out the check in health screen every day before they come to school.
You'll receive a daily reminder from PikMyKid for the first few weeks to help you remember while it's new.
If your answer is "yes" to any of the questions, please look to our Return to Campus protocols for guidance before coming to school. You may hear from our nurse as well.
