Blues Concert with Helen Sheldon and The Trash Pandas in the Lippitt House Museum Garden
We are welcoming the public back to Lippitt House with an outdoor concert featuring blues singer Helen Sheldon and The Trash Pandas. This concert is the second in the 2020 Hunter Music Series, which celebrates the voices of women through the lens of American roots music. The concert series, along with other in-person and online programs, are part the museum’s yearlong commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment which recognized women’s right to vote. Bring a blanket or folding chair, sunscreen and relax with beautiful sights and sounds around you!

Bad weather will cancel this outdoor event. Face coverings required while on museum property and social distancing guidelines will be strictly followed. No picnics please. 
Lippitt House Reopens for Private Outdoor Tours -
FREE During the Month of August!
Join us for a private outdoor tour experience! This new tour explores how design impacted house operations and the various ways the building was used by the Lippitt family, guests, and servants. While conducted primarily outdoors there is an opportunity for a brief visit inside the Museum to see the interior spaces when the tour concludes. 

Guests and staff must wear face coverings and practice social distancing.

Advanced registration with ticket purchase is required. Please be sure to check the "Know Before You Go" section for more safety guidelines and specifics.
