Joe Kaufman is a Republican Congressional candidate in the 23rd district of Florida, a seat currently held Debbie Wasserman Schultz. This is a newly and highly contested district following the Congresswoman Schultz recent resignation as DNC Chairwoman. Mr. Kaufman has been endorsed and supported by leading conservatives including Newt Gingrich, Amb. John Bolton, Foster Friess, and Herman Cain.

James Martin is Chairman and President of 60 Plus Association and 60 Plus Foundation. Mr. Martin served in the U.S. Marines from 1953-1958. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Journalism in 1962 from the University of Florida. Mr. Martin covered Washington from 1962 as a newspaper reporter, radio and TV broadcaster for 3 dozen media outlets in the South. He then served as Chief of Staff to the late Senator Edward Gurney of Florida. Now Mr. Martin serves as the Chairman of the 60 Plus Association, a 7.2 million member national grass-roots organization for seniors which actively lobbies the U.S. Congress on public policy issues of concern to senior citizens.

Joe Kaufman
Joe Kaufman is a Republican Congressional candidate in the 23rd district of Florida. After 9/11, Mr. Kaufman co-founded Americans Against Hate, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting bigotry and terrorism. He worked with the FBI, Homeland Security and Department of Defense to identify, route out and imprison terrorists active worldwide with a focus on protecting America. While at the University of Maryland, Mr. Kaufman was a junior lobbyist for AIPAC. Mr. Kaufman co-founded the Republican Jewish Coalition in Florida, co-founded the Terror-Free Oil Initiative (TFOI) which pushed for energy independence for America. Mr. Kaufman is an active member of the local Jewish community. His wife Emily grew up in Peru, lived in Israel, and teaches Spanish and Hebrew for schools in Broward and Miami-Dade.
