Wrong turns
A notorious dirt road in mud season, a NATO mission to Sarajevo, a car trip with a sick dog, and getting bailed out of jail—by your father. "Sometimes a wrong turn will lead you where you're supposed to be," advised Chet Clem at AVA's latest Mudroom, an evening of zany storytelling on the theme: "Wrong Turn." Other tale tellers included Brandon Arvesen, Hannah Doubleday, Lianne Moccia, Julie Puttgen, David Szelowski, and Laura Williams Wilder.

Need a smile?
This will make you happy. About 100 boys and girls in matching tie-dyed T-shirts took the Lebanon Opera House stage for the annual Lebanon Elementary All-District Chorus Concert. Songs included The Pink Panther Theme, The Bullfrog, Shalom Aleichem, and Gallop the Rondo. "We feel so lucky to make music with your children, and hopefully give them a love of music their whole life long," said one music teacher.

Joe Halko, community relations director of Northwest Counseling & Support Services, discussed issues facing them with two of his associates. "It starts with listening and learning....You want people to make the most of their lives," said Halko. Courtesy Northwest Access TV in St. Albans, VT.
