Thank you to all of you, our supporters of the Little Free Library Campaign. The LFL build is complete, with plans to install onsite at 156th Street Elementary School in the fall, just before the academic year begins.
While materials costs were higher than we expected, because of your generosity, donations covered it all, plus installation. We even have funds left over to provide a check directly to the school.
Our original plan was to use surplus funds for books, but the Palisades Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library donated four boxes of books, and Geoffrey's Comics, of Torrance, added some amazing graphic novels to our inventory.
This project was made possible because of you. Thank you for joining us on this journey. We are so grateful and can't wait to see the LFL in use by students at 156th Street Elementary.
We will be sure to follow up in the fall with a few pics of the installation.
With gratitude,
The LumenSparQ board
