FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Science Central opens Little Free Library
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (July 23, 2019) - Science Central announces the grand opening of our own, science-themed Little Free Library .

An official unveiling ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on July 30 at Science Central. Members of the public are invited to join the celebration as we place the first set of books inside the Little Free Library.

This project was completed thanks to a sponsorship from Managed Health Services (MHS) , and was constructed by local artist John Mishler .

“MHS is proud to partner with Science Central on an innovative way of sharing the joy of reading with the Fort Wayne community,” said Kevin O’Toole, MHS President & CEO. “The idea behind the libraries is ‘Take a Book, Share a Book, Leave a Book.’ Anyone in the community is encouraged to grab a free book from the library to read and share with others, or to donate books for others to take. It’s a great way to encourage a love of reading and build a sense of community. We’ve had a long standing partnership with Science Central through our Healthy Bodies = Healthy Minds well-child checkup campaign and are thrilled to help launch the new Little Free Library.”
Thanks!
