Little Italy Lodge OSIA #2286 Foundation, Inc. was formed in 1992 as a philanthropic organization to serve the Italian American community and award educational scholarships to eligible individuals of Italian heritage and their descendants. Scholarships are paid directly to accredited two- or four-year post-secondary educational institutions for tuition, fees and on-campus room & board for full-time students in undergraduate studies. For the 2025-26 school year, $68,000 was awarded to 15 applicants. For 2026, the Foundation has added a new program for trade school, apprenticeships, and Community College technical degree programs.
