County, Printed Solid team up to protect poll workers with shields
New Castle County is committed to ensuring all members of the community are safe as we all continue to weather the COVID-19 pandemic. As voters head to the polls, hundreds of dedicated poll workers will face an increased risk of exposure to the novel coronavirus as they interact with thousands of voters across our county. Through a partnership with Newark's Printed Solid, workers at the Route 9 Library's Maker Space have been 3-D printing face shields to help keep poll workers safe on Election Day.
