Congratulations to our client Kristin Juszczyk, who worked closely with founding partner Mitchell C. Littman, on the launch of her Off Season® brand company with entrepreneur Emma Grede and the sports apparel company Fanatics. The launch of Off Season was recently featured in the New York Times. Off Season is an elevated apparel for sports fans made possible through an initial collaboration with the NFL Players Association for fans to show support for their favorite football team. Off Season launched on January 7th and has online retail. Congratulations again Kristen and Off Season on this exciting endeavor. Serves as a Panelist at Brooklyn Law School's Business Boot Camp

Founding Partner Mitchell C. Littman, an Adjunct Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School, recently served as a panelist at the school’s Business Boot Camp’s “Buying and Selling Businesses” After a four-day deep dive into learning about the business world, sixty students participated in Brooklyn Law School’s 13th annual Business Boot Camp. Mitchell was joined o the panel by other distinguished alumni of Brooklyn Law School, along with Dean David Meyer.

Partner Marion Walsh Joins Panel

at Bedford Playhouse Screening of

Love and Communication

In December, Littman Krooks Partner Marion M. Walsh, Esq., served as a panelist during the screening of Love and Communication at the Bedford Playhouse. Love and Communication is about the struggles of a young couple whose son has been diagnosed with autism. The movie explores the parents' struggles with their school district over their son’s education, and the strain extends to their marriage. In a dramatized depiction of common struggles, the child's mother pursues an untested online relationship-based therapy and the father goes to increasingly desperate measures to get their son into a highly specialized school.


Bedford Playhouse is a nonprofit community hub who showcase outstanding films, arts, and educational events in our state-of-the-art theater. Many of the shows and arts often touch upon the special education and special needs services that impact many of our clients and the larger community.

Partner Marion Walsh To Moderate Lower Hudson Valley Special Education Task Force's CSE Process Workshop

On Thursday, January 23rd, Partner Marion Walsh, a longstanding executive board member of the Lower Hudson Special Education Task Force, will serve as a moderator for an interactive discussion via webinar on strategies for effective communication in the Committee on Special Education (CSE) process. All participants in a CSE have different perspectives and roles, and the team must work together with the aim of developing an appropriate IEP for a student’s unique needs. Respect and effective communication have never been more important in these challenging times.

On Wednesday, February 5, Special Education Advocate Sandi Rosenbaum will present at the Westchester Independent Living Center, Inc’s Workshop Series I Wish I Had Known This Sooner. This free online workshop is targeted to help teach about a child’s rights, the special education process, and how to advocate for children with special needs. The workshop is virtual and will have two sessions. The morning session runs from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the evening session runs from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The presentation is available only to registered participants, please register for the morning or afternoon sessions per the two links provided and please note the date for the February 5th session.
