The American Heritage Girls will be hosting a Public Square Rosary Rally next Saturday, October 16th, at noon in the front parking lot.

The rally will also include a living rosary. You are invited to come and be a “bead” in the rosary.

Religious Education is still in need of two catechists for Monday evening.

St. Alphonsus School is still in need of an Extended Day Care worker.

Please feel welcomed to pass this word along to those you know who may be a good fit. More details are in the bulletin.
Calling all musicians! The music ministry would be honored to welcome anyone interested in music to join us as we approach the Advent Season. We are looking for instrumentalists, cantors, and choir singers. Whether you have a background in music studies or just have a love for music, we have a place for you.
Please reach out to Lesley Sharkey or Roslyn McQuillan for more details and next steps to get involved.
Donations to the
Sister Agnes School Tuition Fund
helps families in need; by reducing their tuition expenses.

In the recent past this fund has provided approximately $25,000 in support to students who would not be able to attend our Catholic school without this assistance.

Our annual need is great and we very much appreciate any donation you can make. No amount is too small.

Parish Endowment Fund was established in honor of Fr. Robert Heinz to assist in funding ministries that teach, promote and share our Catholic faith to parishioners and community.

Join St. Alphonsus parishioners on Wednesdays at 7:45am to pray the Rosary before daily Mass.
Also, the American Heritage Girls are hosting a Public Square Rosary Rally on Saturday, October 16, at noon in the parking lot in front of school. They will also be doing a “living rosary” in which each bead will be represented by a person. See the October 3rd bulletin for details on how to be part of it!

Prayer to St. Joseph during October, the month of the Holy Rosary
To thee, O blessed Joseph, we have recourse in our affliction, and having implored the help of thy thrice holy Spouse, we now, with hearts filled with confidence, earnestly beg thee also to take us under thy protection. By that charity wherewith thou wert united to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God, and by that fatherly love with which thou didst cherish the Child Jesus, we beseech thee and we humbly pray that thou wilt look down with gracious eye upon that inheritance which Jesus Christ purchased by His blood, and wilt succor us in our need by thy power and strength.

Defend, O most watchful guardian of the Holy Family, the chosen off-spring of Jesus Christ. Keep from us, O most loving Father, all blight of error and corruption. Aid us from on high, most valiant defender, in this conflict with the powers of darkness. And even as of old thou didst rescue the Child Jesus from the peril of His life, so now defend God's Holy Church from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity. Shield us ever under thy patronage, that, following thine example and strengthened by thy help, we may live a holy life, die a happy death, and attain to everlasting bliss in Heaven. Amen.
