​ Bruce Hirsch MD is an infectious disease specialist with over 30 years of experience. He is board certified in Geriatric Medicine as well as Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. He has co-chaired the Medication Safety Committee at North Shore University Hospital and is currently co-chair of the Northwell Health System Pharmacy Committee. He is interested in preventive health strategies and works closely with his patients to promote complete healing. He is interested in the role of healthy bacteria of the human microbiome in health and illness
