St. Andrews Hall March 29th event officially kicks off the premiere of the first-ever Live Nation Faster Horses Series presenting Paulina Jayne and special guests Annabelle Road and Matt Austin. The night promises to be a unique experience featuring a red carpet with local photographers on hand to capture guests, a step and repeat, VIP section for local celebrities and contest winners - with more fun elements to be announced over the weeks leading up to the event.
"Paulina Jayne reminds us all that a dynamic voice and a genuine soul will always capture our hearts," said Leif Christensen, General Manager of St. Andrews Hall. "We are looking forward to having her grace our stage for what is sure to be a memorable event."
Paulina Jayne, a senior in High School, was recently invited by multi-award winning music producer Toby Wright to audition in Nashville for NBC's hit show The Voice and has shared the marquee with notable country music icons including Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Chase Rice, Jerrod Niemann, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and Blackberry Smoke. She also had the honor of opening for Sheryl Crow (with special guests Kid Rock and Herschel Boone) at the DTE Energy Music Center in Detroit.
"I love the vibe at St. Andrews Hall! There's nothing like rockin' out on the historic stage, feeling the floors bounce with the energy of the crowd and a sound so powerful that it's almost tangible," said Paulina Jayne. "I'm stoked that Annabelle Road and Matt Austin are on the bill. It's going to be a killer night!"
Annabelle Road's music resonates Carrie Underwood-meets-Johnny Cash-by way of Skynyrd. This country music group made their debut hand-picked as the "Next Big Star" finalists on Kenny Chesney's "Poets & Pirates" tour. They have opened for country heavyweights Gretchen Wilson, Phil Vassar, Justin Moore; played Detroit's Downtown Hoedown with Zac Brown & Willie Nelson; as well as performed a mini tour with Clint Black and opened for Dierks Bentley & John Rich. Their new EP The 5 Speed was recorded and produced at world famous Blackbird Studio in Nashville.
"Of all the stages we have been blessed to play on - St. Andrews is one we've been waiting for! Those big out of state stages just don't compare to a hometown crowd," said Amanda Temple, Vocalist for Annabelle Road. "We are excited to finally do another show with Paulina - finding an artist who's talent matches the size of their heart is rare, but this girl's got it all."
Detroit-born country music artist Matt Austin has shared the marquee with legendary country music stars Jerrod Niemann, Eric Pasley, Lee Brice, Montgomery Gentry, Brantley Gilbert, Uncle Kracker, Aaron Lewis, Josh Gracin and Charlie Worsham.
Additionally this past year, he has played some of the largest country music festivals in Michigan, sharing the marquee with Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Florida Georgia Line, Colt Ford and Cole Swindell.
"Since releasing my debut EP, things have been moving so fast and in the right direction," said Matt Austin. "We are proud to be apart of this inaugural event and offer our fans this awesome all ages venue to see us perform. It's our amazing fans that really keeps us doing what we are doing!"
