Pastor Trudy's Message
Lift up your voice, lift it up! When we get home from a trip no matter how long or short, we either want to collapse in our own bed or get busy doing all of the things that MUST be done (apparently the world stops when we are away!). We can forget to give thanks for the people around us, for a safe return, for the time away (whether good or bad), but most of all for God's presence through it all. Isaiah urges the people to remember God as they return from their time of exile, to remember that all they have and all they are, is from God.
Comforting God, help us to remember that You are present with us...in our accomplishments and in our struggles. In the name of the One who joined our humanity, Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
