Many thanks to LOUU's Hands on Housing volunteers

Live Oak Hands on Housing volunteers completed our 2021 Spring Blitz on Saturday, 17 April, 2021 at 7109 Carwill, Austin. We made some minor carpentry repairs and painted the exterior of the home. As has become custom, we were teamed with the good folks of First UU Church of Austin. A great big thank you, and air hugs, to the volunteers:

Mark E. Anderson
Ed Boissevain
Jon Durbin
Jane Justice
Cindy La Greca
Wayne McCullough

Marjory Taylor

If conditions in the Fall permit, we will have a Fall Blitz, usually some time in October. Pertinent details will follow as the time grows near.

It’s Time Texas Legislators Listen to You!

The Environmental Awareness Group met on Thursday and discussed environmental bills that are working their way through Texas legislature. Church members are encouraged to contact their state senators and representatives in support of environmental legislation.

Mark your calendars and plan to join the Live Oak Environmental Awareness Group at our next Meeting May 27th @ 6:30pm. Any questions please contact Chris Mihealsick.
