Important Dates

Holiday season is here and the Live Oak PTA is planning a Holiday Luncheon for our wonderful teachers and staff of Live Oak on December 16, 2024.

Like previous years, this year too, we plan to get the food catered from one of their favorite restaurants. To help us make these arrangements we ask you to kindly make a small donation in place of bringing a hot meal or food item. We are hoping to reach our goal of $2000 for approximately 100 staff members by 12/16/24.

Eagles market is coming up soon! All are welcome to shop with us. Can't wait to see you on Eagles Holiday Market day! Please remember to carry a bag and lots of change!

Our Kid entrepreneurs are all set and working hard to bring a variety of fun crafts and other handmade products! We also are working hard to find some entertainers for kids visiting and also have food trucks bringing you some yummy food!

The business proposals will also be displayed in the MPR for the next few days leading up to the event. We hope this gets the kids talking about all the fun stores they'll get to visit on Eagles Market day.

Pajama Day is December 18! The kids are excited for a second one this semester, thanks to Red Ribbon Week!



Our food drive was extremely successful! Once we get the final totals from the Food Bank, we will let you know. THANKS for your generosity!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the community for their incredible generosity this holiday season. The final count of accumulated toys was 658 with the goal of around 450. We surpassed our goal of providing toys to Michelle Obama Elementary School, our Sister School! This is a combined effort of both Live Oak and Cal High communities! Thanks to your overwhelming support!



We want to express our deepest appreciation to the Student Council, PTA, representatives from Cal High, and every member of our community. Your unwavering commitment has truly made a difference and we are immensely grateful for your contributions. Many thanks to Perin Sabuwala for chairing this initiative.

PTA reflections is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore their creativity. There are myriad categories - painting, writing, poetry, movie making etc.

Our volunteers at the Reflections team work hard to collect submissions, contact judges, collate results, order awards and certificates and plan a distribution ceremony to help motivate the kids.

Sister School Program is a philanthropic program benefits Live Oak students by enhancing community engagement and teaching the joy of helping others. 

Live Oak partners with others schools in our district to help a neighboring disadvantaged school in the east bay,

The chair has to often coordinate with other PTA volunteers to get posters ready, promote the event in the community, organize and collect donations from bins and hand them over to the representatives.
