The students enjoyed their first spring book club discussions. Everyone participated and enjoyed their early morning breakfast. The groups were engaged and had great in-depth discussions with parent volunteers. It was great to hear their feedback on the books as well as what they liked and disliked reading this spring book club. It was great to receive feedback from parent volunteers regarding possible changes coming to fall book club. Parents and students would like to be more involved in book selections and have more options. We are looking forward to the rest of the spring book club readings and discussions.
A special thanks to our amazing parent volunteers; Dave Maino, Prachi Shah, Sanju Bhattarai for their time and dedication to the book club discussions.
Thank you Shilpy Kapoor and Nazish Yousuf for coordinating book club sessions, picking up the books and arranging the breakfast this season.
