Valentine Grams were delivered to the students on Valentine’s Day. Thanks for the support! Our meeting is on February 21, and we will decide which charity will benefit from our sales. More to come later!
Wednesday, February 26 is Character Day! Students are encouraged to dress as their favorite book, movie or TV character.

A huge shout-out to everyone who made our recent Live Oak PTA Talent Show a resounding success! All the performances were truly amazing and were filled with creativity and confidence! We're grateful to our wonderful school community for this opportunity!

The Live Oak Talent show has been one of the most popular events for the last 3 yrs. This is where the kids get to be creative and showcase performance skills that they otherwise might not get a chance to exhibit.
There’s a lot that goes behind the scenes to organize such an event. From auditions, to rehearsals, to school assemblies and finally a performance in front of the entire live oak family. Our chairs and other volunteers have worked tirelessly on coordinating dates, organizing audio files, arranging memorabilia and sometimes even helping children get over their stage fear 🙂. Kudos to our talent show chairs Shalini Kosgi and Arthi Vijayakumar. Their efforts helped make this show a big success.

Run Club: Spring Season Kicks Off!
Get ready to lace up and hit the track—Run Club is back for the Spring season! Starting March 5 and running through May 14, 2025, we’ll be meeting every Wednesday from 7:25 to 7:45 AM at Tiffany Roberts.
Whether you’ve been part of past Run Clubs or are joining for the first time, students from every grade are encouraged to participate. As always, runners will earn exciting charms to celebrate each milestone they reach—so keep collecting and wearing them proudly!
Show off your achievements, encourage your friends, and make every run count. Let’s make this season one of energy, endurance, and enthusiasm—see you on the track!
We also welcome parents who would like to join or volunteer to support our runners and help make each session fun and engaging. If you're interested, we'd like to hear from you.

Attention 5th grade parents - California Healthy Kids Survey | |

Your school needs you to complete this online survey to learn more about your opinions about it. This survey is an opportunity to communicate your perceptions about your child’s school. This letter explains the survey and, at the bottom of the page, provides your URL and access instructions. If you have any questions about this survey, contact Chi Shui.
The purpose of this survey is to obtain parent perceptions about the school.
Your participation is voluntary. It is also very important. The information you provide will help guide district and school efforts to promote safety, enhance learning supports, and improve student achievement.
- This is an anonymous survey. It is designed so that no one can be identified from the data. You do not have to respond to any questions that you feel could be used to identify you. Simply skip any such questions.

- The results are for the use of your district. The California Department of Education and WestEd will preserve data confidentiality and refer any data requests to the district.
