Math Kangaroo 2025

Math Kangaroo is an international competition in Mathematics in over 89 countries. It promotes problem-solving, logical reasoning, and a love for Math in a fun and engaging way. There are six levels of participation, ranging from grade 1 to grade 12. The competition is held annually on the third Thursday of March for which registrations begin on their website https://mathkangaroo.org/ in September of the previous year. Top 20 national winners and top 3 state winners are recognized on their website.

Live Oak student Aria C participated in the level 3-4 competition this year and secured the national 15th rank among third graders. Congratulations!

PTA Family Bowling previously scheduled for May 04, has been canceled due to low participation.

Thanks everyone for coming and supporting our annual Spring Carnival. The kids did a great job of walking the ramp while representing their culture. We could see lots of big smiles during the puppet show. Thanks to all the parent and NHS volunteers for their support with all the activities. Know your volunteers

Spring Carnival event is one of our major community building events. The event is huge with work involving coordinating the whole event which includes planning, communication and execution with help of other volunteers. From planning food, reaching out to vendors, organizing student performances and planning entertainment and games for the students and families, not to forget, setup and take down/clean up after the event. We thank our chairs Nagi Sudheer and Arthi Vijayakumar for their hard work and sharing their valuable time to bring the community together. 

Truck Time 2025 – Tickets on Sale Now!

Turn imagination into real life! This fun, interactive, outdoor family festival encourages children (and their adults) to explore the trucks and vehicles they see around them all the time, and maybe some they've never seen before.
