Spelling Bee 2026

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the winners of our recent classroom Spelling Bees! These students have spent weeks mastering tricky phonics, memorizing obscure etymologies, and practicing under pressure. Their hard work has truly paid off.

It takes an incredible amount of courage to stand up in front of peers and tackle words like "conscientious" or "mnemonic." Whether they placed first or simply gave it their best shot, we are proud of every student who participated.

Our School Competition was held on Friday, January 30th. Aradhya (3rd Grade), Aria (4th Grade) and Isha (5th Grade) moved on to the Regional Round of the Spelling Bee. The next step will be held on Wednesday, February 18th. 

Congratulations and Good Luck. 

Valentine Gram sales came to a close early, as we sold out pretty quickly! At our February `9 meeting, students will present their ideas on where the proceeds should be donated. Thanks so much for your support.

Wed, Feb 25 is Crazy Clothes Day: students are encouraged to wear their clothes inside out, backwards, or both!

Wed, Mar 25 is Twin Day! Triplets or more are great, too!

The Live Oak PTA is pleased to announce the appointment of the Nominating Committee for the next academic year election cycle.

The committee will oversee the process of identifying and recommending qualified candidates for PTA leadership positions to be filled for upcoming school year 2026-27. Their work is essential to ensuring the proper governance and bringing live oak families together.

Open PTA Positions 2026-27

PTA Treasurer (Shadow): We are seeking a volunteer to serve as PTA Treasurer for the upcoming school year 2026-27. This vital role requires approximately 4–6 hours per month and includes managing PTA finances, maintaining records, preparing budgets and reports. Now is a great time to step forward and shadow the current treasurer to learn the systems and processes with confidence before taking on the role. We’d love to have you join the team! LOPTA Talent Show 2026 on March 27, 2025

The Talent Show is back, and we’re excited to invite our students to participate in this year’s show, themed “Dream Big, Shine Bright.”


This theme celebrates confidence, creativity, and the unique talents of every child. Whether it’s singing, dancing, comedy, magic, music, or another special skill, this is a wonderful opportunity for students to take the stage and shine.

Talent Show forms are now available for sign-up and we encourage all interested students to participate.

Mountain Mike’s Fundraiser

Mountain Mike’s Dublin is hosting a Live Oak PTA fundraiser on Thursday, February 26th. Enjoy some pizza with friends and family. Use the code “Live Oak PTA” when ordering. The address is 8951 San Ramon Rd. in Dublin. Share some pizza and support our PTA!

20% of the proceeds will be donated to the Live Oak PTA.

Spring Run Club begins March 11th

We are excited to announce the return of Run Club in Spring 2026!

Sign-ups are available now and first session will be Wednesday, March 11^th. Meeting weekly on Wednesday mornings at Tiffany Roberts field (next to Live Oak) 7:20am – 7:45am kids (parents are welcome to run too) will earn charms for completing run milestones. 

This club is open to LO kids of all ages, attend when you are available no weekly requirement.

Spring Book Club starts March 17th

We are excited to announce the return of Breakfast Book Club in Spring 2026!

Sign-ups are now open, and the first meeting will be March 17th. Meeting monthly on Tuesday mornings in the MPR students will read one book per month based on their grade level. Enjoy a yummy breakfast and cool conversation about awesome reads in this club. 

This club is open to LO kids of all ages including little readers, we love our picture books too!

FREE: Customize Your Yearbook by April 8th

Treering allows you to create your own pages that only your child's copy of the book will have. You get 1 free spread per book and can add as many as you want for a fee, make their yearbook extra special this year and add all the beautiful memories they will cherish for a lifetime! Deadline is April 8th, 2026.

The Windemere Ranch Middle School Education Fund works to directly enhance your child’s educational opportunities and experience at WRMS. We help reduce class sizes, enable more elective offerings, invest in technology, support students with tutoring and SEL programs, and more!

We invite incoming and current WRMS parents and guardians to consider serving on the 2026–2027 WRMS Education Fund Board. Serving on the board is a rewarding way to support our school and make a direct impact on student success.
