Important Dates

Valentine Gram sales continue! 💟



We are doing really well, and might sell out before February 6th. If parents are interested in purchasing grams for their own children, there is a basket in the Live Oak main office and staff can assist. If parents are interested in purchasing a class set, please email Mrs. Freels lfreels@srvusd.net to make arrangements. At some point we may not have enough to supply an entire classroom, so please keep that in mind. 💝

February 25 is Crazy Clothes Day: Inside Out/ Backwards is the name of the game! Have fun with it! 

LOPTA Talent Show 2026

March 27, 2026

The Talent Show is back, and we’re excited to invite our students to participate in this year’s show, themed “Dream Big, Shine Bright.”

This theme celebrates confidence, creativity, and the unique talents of every child. Whether it’s singing, dancing, comedy, magic, music, or another special skill, this is a wonderful opportunity for students to take the stage and shine.

Talent Show forms are now available for sign-up and we encourage all interested students to participate.

Important Dates (in order):

• January 30 – Talent Show forms available
• February 11 – Forms due
• February 26 – Auditions
• March 19 – Dress rehearsal
• March 27 – Talent Show Night



We look forward to an inspiring evening and can’t wait to cheer on our talented students as they dream big and shine bright!

Mountain Mike’s Fundraiser! 

Mark your calendars for later this month - Thursday, February 26th! Get your friends and family together! Come share some pizza at Mountain Mike’s and support our PTA activities. 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the Live Oak PTA.

Spring Book Club - Sign up today!

We are excited to announce the return of Breakfast Book Club in Spring 2026!

Sign-ups are now open, and the first meeting will be March 17th. Meeting monthly on Tuesday mornings in the MPR students will read one book per month based on their grade level. Enjoy a yummy breakfast and cool conversation about awesome reads in this club. 

This club is open to LO kids of all ages including little readers, we love our picture books too! Sign up here to attend.

Spring Run Club

We are excited to announce the return of Run Club in Spring 2026!

Sign-ups are available now and first session will be Wednesday, March 11^th. Meeting weekly on Wednesday mornings at Tiffany Roberts field (next to Live Oak) 7:20am – 7:45am kids (parents are welcome to run too) will earn charms for completing run milestones. 

This club is open to LO kids of all ages, attend when you are available no weekly requirement.

Reflections – “I Belong” 25-26

Congratulations to our very own Live Oak District-level PTA Reflections winners Mehar F and Ikshaan R. 

Mehar won the Award of Excellence for Dance Choreography and Award of Merit for Photography. Ikshaan won the Award of Excellence for Music Composition. We are proud of your achievements! 

 We look forward to supporting students and LO families participating in this amazing initiative next school year.

Live Oak Game Night and Association meeting

Live Oak PTA hosted a fun and engaging Game Night on the evening of Wednesday, January 21, combined with a PTA Association Meeting. We had a great turnout, exciting games, prizes, and happy kids enjoying snacks and time with friends.

We’re grateful to our generous sponsors—Baskin-Robbins, Menchie’s, Safeway and Jenn’s Cupcakes for their support in making this event a success. Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped build such a wonderful sense of community!

We plan to have many such fun events every association meeting. Watch this space for upcoming events!
