In July, 50% of cash and all designated money will be donated to
Drive a Senior. Drive a Senior Northwest has been serving seniors in Cedar Park, Leander, and Northwest Austin since 1986.
Direct services are provided by volunteers, but there are many costs associated with keeping over 500 clients and their 8500 rides per year organized! Your donation helps the seniors in your community remain independent by providing free transportation and other support services so they can live in their own homes longer and stay active in their community!
Love Notes
Every month, there will be a different group at Live Oak featured in our "Love Notes" appreciation program. You're encouraged to grab one of those pink sheets and let the group know how much you appreciate what they contribute to Live Oak life.  July love notes will be for our Buildings & Grounds team.  please be sure to stop by the Love Notes box and show your love!

Live Oak Church will be distributing food to our neighbors. Please volunteer to help with the following tasks:
* Thursday, July 18th @ 1:00 p.m. to approximately 2:30 p.m. food needs to be separated into smaller quantities for distribution. Meet at Hill Country Community Ministries, 1005 Lacy Dr, Leander, TX 78641
* Friday, July 19th @ 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the Live Oak parking lot. This is when we distribute the food to our neighbors. Faith Development
Here's what you need to know this week!

Our summer programming continues this Sunday at 11 AM. Adults are invited to attend our weekly discussions on the worship topic called 'Musings on the Message.'

Children and youth are exploring cultural cuisine throughout the summer using the curriculum  Books and Cooks. The class will meet in Room 205 for the summer, and children 5th grade and under should be signed out by a family member by noon. Older youth (middle school and up) are encouraged to sign up to help lead a session, or just come and help with the cooking and story time.

Since it is a food-based curriculum, each week when you sign your child in at the table in the Fellowship Hall you will find a list of the ingredients for the day so that you can let the teachers know if there is something your child should not have. We will make sure that our dishes are gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free as much as possible to avoid common allergens.  Please check each week!

If you are interested in helping over the summer, there are still slots available for teachers. Please see the sign-up in the Narthex or sign-up here
