The focus is on how to incorporate an understanding of neuroscience into play therapy sessions with grieving children. It includes the ages and stages of development and how they impact and influence the grieving process. Further, this session helps the listener understand how neuroscience guides the practical application of play therapy ideas with the grieving child. Additionally, it helps the therapist coach the parent, step-parent, and other caregivers on how to create a safe space for the child to grieve, process the loss and integrate emotional experiences. Included is a wealth of tried and true ready-to-use practical tips for play therapy.
