This holy day is not just for Jews, but can be humbly revered among us, The Body of Christ, His "ecclesia," in every nation, the" Israel of God" (Galatians 6:16). Earlier this key week NDR sent out an article "Listen to Amos." It focused on scripture including Amos 3:6-8, in the amplified version:
If a trumpet is blown in a city [warning of danger] will not the people tremble? If a disaster or misfortune occurs in a city has not the Lord caused it? Surely the Lord God does nothing Without revealing His secret plan [of the judgment to come] To His servants the prophets. The lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken [to the prophets]! Who can but prophesy?
And also Amos 9:8,9: "'Behold, the eyes of the LORD GOD are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth; Yet I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, 'says the LORD. For surely I will command, and will sift the house of Israel among all nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve. Yet now the smallest grain shall fall to the ground. All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, Who say, ' The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.'"
And then these magnificent ending verses, again in the amplified, Amos 9: 11-15:
“In that day I shall raise up and restore the fallen tabernacle (booth) of David,
And wall up its breaches [in the city walls];
I will also raise up and restore its ruins
And rebuild it as it was in the days of old,
That they may possess the remnant of Edom (ancient enemies)
And all the nations that are called by My name,”
Says the Lord who does this.
“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,
“When the plowman shall overtake the one who gathers the harvest,
And the one who treads the grapes [shall overtake] him who sows the seed [for the harvest continues until planting time];
When the mountains will drip sweet wine
And all the hills shall melt [that is, everything that was once barren will overflow with streams of blessing].
“Also I shall bring back the exiles of My people Israel,
And they will rebuild the deserted and ruined cities and inhabit them:
They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine,
And make gardens and eat their fruit.
“I will also plant them on their land,
And they shall never again be uprooted from their land
Which I have given them,”
Says the Lord your God."
Confirming these Words in Amos 3:6-8 and Amos 9:8-15, is this message from our dear sister Kathleen Mitchell. Take time and "digest" it all with your Teacher, the Holy Spirit. In the shaking that will continue, live in the Spirit and treasure the time!
Shalom and welcome to the 10 days of Awe!
Our Rosh Hashana/Yom Teruah/Feast of Trumpets celebrations (Friday evening and yesterday) were wonderful! The first of the Biblical Fall Feasts has passed, and now we are heading toward Yom Kippur, one week from this evening. The ten days in between the first holy day, and the second one, are known as the Ten Days of Awe. This a time for intentional introspection before the Lord, in preparation for the Day of Atonement. One of the Jewish traditions during this period of time is called “making tashlich”. In past years, I have provided my readers with a full script for that process of repentance. Perhaps tomorrow, I will again send out some direction and prayers for those of you, who would like to participate. It is one of my favorite traditions. There is an intimacy with the Lord that occurs, as well as a serious house cleaning of the heart. I recommend it.
As we enter into this civil/secular new year of Israel, 5784, we remember that the real, biblical new year, (on the actual, scriptural, calendar of YHVH) begins with the month of Nissan in the Spring. Meanwhile, we have passed a marker in time … and those times are truly changing. There has been quite a bit written, and spoken, about a possible shift, in power or safety, that will occur on Sept. 23rd this year. The reason for that is, for decades, Hollywood producers have inserted Sept. 23, and 2023 into many of their movie scenes, and television productions. In each case, that number suggests a disaster, or a major turnover in power, safety, or reality. We remember that the Luciferian global elitists have a code that demands they leave a hint of their plans in public view, so that if we do nothing to stop it from happening, they believe that they won’t suffer any negative karma from their deadly deeds. (WON’T THEY BE SURPRISED! The God of Israel is always watching, and there WILL BE VERY NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES FOR THEM!) Anyway, many people are praying into the possibility of negative events appearing this Saturday. Personally, I am at peace about that date, and about anything that the Lord might allow to come through. It may, turn out that nothing will be visible; but we know that many things are always shifting around beyond our view.
Clearly something big is on the horizon. I have been having many prophetic dreams since Thursday evening when the first Fall Feast began. I’ve had up to 4 dreams a night. The spiritual atmosphere is bristling with activity. Before I share the rhema word that I have received for this season, I want to share a sweet parable that the Lord gave me this morning.
After getting out of bed, and even before getting dressed and ready for the day, the Holy Spirit led me to a small box that was on my vanity counter. It has been pushed back and sitting there for a long time. I opened that box, and found a gold herringbone chain that had become unwearable. It had been jostled within a jewelry box in my carry-on luggage a few years ago during a trip. As a result of the jostling, the chain was a mass of sharp points found in globs of twisted chain. The 18-inch chain was crumpled to become about 4 inches long. It had been impossible to sort out, so I had set it in the box to figure out what might be done with it at a later date. Bottom line: The twisted and misaligned herringbone links were a hopeless mess that simply couldn’t be realigned by me, no matter how hard I tried. Today, the Spirit told me to pick up one end of the garbled chain, hold it vertically, and swing the twisted mess back and forth gently in the air. To my great surprise, after a while, about half of the chain fell into alignment. Further swinging didn’t correct the rest. Then Holy Spirit told me to take the two ends of the chain and hold it horizontally, as I shook it a bit roughly. More of the chain fell into alignment. However, three small sections of horrific tangle remained. Additional shaking wouldn’t budge them. Then, Holy Spirit told me to hold the chain vertically, locking the bottom end of the chain securely between my knees, and firmly holding the upper end between my fingers. I was to sharply flick the misaligned portions with the fingers of my free hand. Surprisingly, two of those globs of chain came into proper order. One small remained, and would not budge with additional knocks against it. It was then that I was told to take the last portion between my thumb and forefinger, and then massage it firmly in circles. It took a while, but finally the links came into order. The beauty of the chain was restored, and the chain was now wearable. I was amazed. It was then that the Lord reminded me that even in a knotted mess the chain was still pure 14k gold, and valuable in and of itself, regardless of appearance. The value of its substance wasn’t lost, even though for a while, its form and order was a mess and a loss.
Now how does that apply to what it taking place, and even about to take place, in our world? Our systems of government, religion, justice, defense, media, education, health, etc. etc. etc. have been a huge mess; existing in rebellion of the Lord’s intended creation and alignment. Our nations have immense value as creations of YHVH’s design, but they’re not in useable order for His Kingdom at this moment. We couldn’t fix it, even though we tried. For these past three years, our Divine Father has been swinging us, tapping us, shaking us, and working in various ways, to bring us back into alignment. At times, His process has been very disquieting and even painful. Some portions of life, truth, and priorities have come back into order in some ways, while other portions remain stuck in sin and corruption. We are about to enter into a season where we will now be rubbed firmly between YHVH’s fingers. We will be totally apprehended … stopped and disrupted … until we finally submit to His design and authority. He will do the work necessary. His fingers around us may feel harsh and very uncomfortable. At times, it may seem that we are in darkness, as we are scrubbed around in that process of sorting, realignment, and adjustment. Never-the-less, He values the treasure in us and the wants to restore the form in which we were designed to bring Him glory. The swinging about has been at times disorienting. The shaking has been very distressing. The sharp flicking and tapping have been painful. And now, we enter into the final phase needed to accomplish His reset for our world. The pressure and authority of a Divine hand will come to bear on our world and upon our daily lives, as never before. What was impossible for us, will be realigned, sorted, and restored by Him. NOTE: this parable can be applied to individual lives and journeys as well. Process it through in the Holy Spirit, and you will see where you, and other people are in His process of realignment. The important thing to remember is that the hands that hold us, our families, our nations, and our world, are His. He is the Creator and the Artisan of our lives, families, nations, etc. It’s time to submit to His fingers, and trust in His final work. Even though it may be very uncomfortable, and even a bit scary at times, it will be worth it.
Now, I will copy below the first Rhema word that YHVH entrusted to me for this holiday season. There may be more revelations between now and Sukkot. Pass the words below before the Holy Spirit. Hold them up to the plumb line of the scriptures, and up to the standard of the Messiah’s heart. If they bless and encourage you, feel free to share them. Sit with them. Unpack this word. Just please, don’t set it aside for a future date. Our tangled world needs to hear and to understand them now.

RHEMA … September 17, 2023 … day #2 of the Ten Days of Awe

“Beloved little ones, the crisis of Satan’s kingdom war against My Kingdom, is about to enter into your reality as never before. The winds of My Spirit will increase, even as the raging tempests of the Enemy will increase. The waters of adversity will rise, even as My streams of living water will begin to overflow into your world. Be still in Me. Breathe in true faith. Breathe in a deep love for who I am. Bless what I am doing to set you free from the grip of evil powers that have held you for generations. The Enemy has not drawn this line in the sand. I HAVE! It is I, who have said, ‘NO MORE!’. Much time has been given for My little ones to seek Me, and to abandon their idolatry. Time has been given for the rebellious ones … for the enablers and for the perpetrators of enculturated evil, to stop and repent. Now the time has run out for My lesser interventions to be effective. Now the storm comes. Remember at all times, that I AM the Master of the storm. I will only bring … I will only allow … the minimum pain and destruction, for the maximum impact in prospering change and awakening. A great shift must be made.
Tragically, there are still too many, who have hardened their hearts against the truth. Too many are willingly serving the purposes of evil for their own ease, comfort, or benefit. Therefore, I must disquiet their foolish little personal kingdoms, and rip the blinders off of their eyes. For some, it will be their last chance to make a change before they lose their place in the destiny that I have planned for them. My human children have always had the power to choose their allegiance and their priorities. I have sent markers, and given guidelines to help them see the truth … showing the wise way to wholeness and freedom. I have sent My prophets, as well as some lesser storms of difficulty and crisis, to awaken them to the truth of their perilous course. And yet, many have still chosen their own course, and fashioned their own gods, their own prosperity, and their own version of truth. Now, all those wrongful choices are coming home to roost. These rebellious ones must choose to change now, or too many will be lost to Me in eternity.
It will soon seem as if a massive tug of war is taking place. Some will wonder, who will win. Know now, that I, and My purposes, WILL WIN. They already have won in eternity. Now they must manifest My victory, and authority, upon the earth to bring a course correction across the globe. There is no escaping this season of battle. For a while it will be intense to the level that will cause dread and gloom in the hearts of those not rooted fully in Me. It will feel like quicksand is under your economic, political, governmental, material, and relational feet. Things and individuals that were perceived to be solid, while being merely veneer, will now show their true nature and structure … and even their true origins. Whatever advancements that did not come from Me, but were the product of stolen secrets, handed down to humanity through the Evil One, will now be revealed as such. It will be shocking for you to see the traps and the snares that have surrounded you. Your illusions of being free, will give way to the truth that you have been in bondage for generations. The inventions that you thought were clever gifts from the minds of men, will be understood as being timebombs put into your hands, and into your dwellings through the invention constructs from wicked sources. You have been leaning on walls for support, that are about to crumble. The coming revelations will be shocking and greatly disturbing.
How will you respond to what is about to consume your lives and your focus? Will you rise up to walk on the high ground of My Kingdom, where there is always peace and understanding? Or will you be consumed with fear and react in despair … grasping at any solution … and crying out for rescue from human and satanic sources? Will you stop and drop with your faces to the ground in complete trust and surrender to the protection and provision of My hand? Will you then arise in obedience and begin to walk on the solid ground of My Kingdom; abandoning the delusions you held while standing on the quick stand?
Evil manifestations will surround all areas of life for a while. The earth will groan and the atmosphere will feel suffocating, rather than life sustaining. It is in this time that My breath will fill the souls and bodies of those, who live in Me. Through My instructions, you will be able to exhale that Holy Breath into the environment, and into the nostrils of the panicked and perishing. The season will change. New strategies and solutions will appear, when the storm has passed. Much evil will be exposed and washed away. My Kingdom, and those, who dwell within it, will endure and thrive.
Do not fear the coming flood, nor the unfolding battle of this war. You will have whatever you seek. Those, who seek Me, will have Me. Those, who seek rescue from evil powers, operating through human endeavors, will remain in evil’s grasp, until they choose to awaken, and to cry out. Too many may be saturated in their own fear, and deceived by their own pride, to the point that they will not submit to My hand. Even in the last heartbeat and breath, I will answer their call for Me to intervene.
For far too long, there has been a profound neglect of awareness, a lack of teaching, and a dearth of understanding, that evil is very real, and that it has both form and persona. My word, and My servants, have clearly told you about the rebellion that occurred in My high domain. You have been warned about the Great Deceiver and his followers, who were cast out. Was it just a story … just a myth to you? I have told you about the outrageous violation of fallen angelic substance being mingled illegally with human genetics. I have told you about the dark kingdom, and about the Enemy of all Humanity … the Enemy of all that is Holy, Righteous, and True. But, so few have believed that truth! So many have mocked those, who spoke the truth. And now, the forces of hell, and the agents of its agenda, are paraded and honored as an entitlement of freedom, and are devoured as titillating entertainment in your world. The human appetite for that which is evil, is now to the point that I can no longer allow these wicked ones to operate unchecked.
Therefore, now the storm of battle will intensify. Nothing will be untouched by it in human experience. This process is necessary, even as it will be terrifying for those, who are not rooted in Me. Their world, along with their security and their idols, will be shaken, swept, and flooded in ways unexpected. Your world is sick. Your leaders are utterly corrupt. Your shepherds have been utterly unfaithful in many of the flocks. All of that will now be struck the blow of sorting and exposure. I will apprehend their rebellion between My fingers. Accountability is forthcoming, and no one will be able to hide from it. The fullness of it will be seen in My way, and in My timing. Those, who abide in Me, will be safe and under protection, even though the horrors of it all will be observed by their eyes.
As the false foundations are collapsed, and as the quicksand appears under your feet, remember that there is always a moving river, of living water, under the quicksand. If you fight the quicksand, and struggle to free yourself, the undertow of that river, will pull you down and under. Rather, I would have My own dear children, lean backwards and gently pull their feet up as they position themselves in surrender to My plan … to float on top of it. The course correcting river will not pull them under. Listening to My instructions during the greatest times of threat, My own little ones will backstroke to the place of solid ground. They will go back to the true foundations, and to the solid ground of My authority and reality. They will again arise, and apply the aspects of My Kingdom to all aspects of human life. They will be builders upon the solid ground that I will restore to your world.
You have asked for the harvest of souls, and indeed you will receive it. The tares will be gathered up and removed from your midst. A great light will break out. The seeds that you have planted, and which have been watered by My spirit, have remained safely hidden intact. Those seeds, which you find are still in your possession, and set to be to planted after the storm passes, will take root quickly when you distribute them. When the light breaks forth, those seed will sprout quickly to bring forth fruit in supernatural speed. Have I not said that the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman? It shall be so.
So, now come to your feet of readiness. There is little time to prepare. The coming events are already being rolled out. There will be no stopping the progression of this reset from My hand. The wind will blow and the water will rise. The false will be exposed and shattered. My Spirit will breathe afresh upon your world. The polluted streams will be dried up, and the deadly wells will be capped off. Fresh water will come, and it will flow through, and out, of the bellies of My Redeemed. Be wise. When the new season begins, you will not know how long it will last. Don’t waste time mourning over what was lost. Do not grieve over your loss of ease, nor of your fascinations of flesh. Live in the Spirit, and treasure the time. Build My Kingdom. Resist evil, and use your authority to declare righteousness, justice and truth in its place, as evil comes down. Know that I AM in this battle, and that you are never a victim of this war. You are more than victorious in Me. Live, speak, and act out of that eternal reality. Step into the battle storm as I lead you. Hold to My word, to My promises, and even to My hand. All will be well done, when it is all done.”
