Mother's Day Means Business
Consumer spending on Mother’s Day is expected to reach a record $38 billion this year, according to the annual survey released by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics. The amount surpasses last year’s total spending of $34.1 billion and exceeds the previous record of $35.7 billion set in 2023.
This means Mother's Day can make a difference to the locally owned shops and restaurants in Lake City! This is our friendly reminder to skip the big box stores and faceless e-tail and spend your gift and dining dollars in our community! Keep a look out for special events and menus in Lake City at your favorite spots, or pick up some Chamber Bucks for the mama's in your life.
