Louie Chiaino

Louie Chiaino, a 20 year resident of Vaughan who currently manages his own real estate portfolio, is a long serving Hospice Vaughan volunteer, and is currently serving as Secretary, Board of Directors. Dynamic and creative, Louie has a passion for event planning, and also has a unique relationship with Italian coffee pots (Moka), where he claims to have the biggest collection of mokas outside of Italy! Louie’s dedication to Hospice Vaughan stems from the loss of his adored mother, who lovingly attended Hospice Vaughan’s Day Program. Louie’s community focused, and altruistic values make him an important member of the Hospice Vaughan community.

Romina Cortellucci

Romina Cortellucci works at Cortel Group and has seen first hand the importance of building sustainable communities supported by vital health care services. Romina’s optimistic and enthusiastic nature will encourage further youthful engagement and support of hospice palliative care needs. The invaluable contributions Hospice Vaughan makes to those most vulnerable and in need are an inspiration to all. With her strategic design eye, Romina looks forward to being a champion of their work and raising much needed funds for Hospice Vaughan. We know that Romina’s experience in amateur stand up comedy will certainly captivate and inspire the Vaughan community!

GALA FEATURING THE MCMICHAEL

Located on 100 acres of forested land along the Humber River, the McMichael is the only major museum in the country devoted exclusively to Canadian art. In addition to touring exhibitions, the McMichael houses a permanent collection that consists of more than 6,500 works by historic and present-day Canadian artists, including Tom Thomson, the Group of Seven and their contemporaries, Indigenous artists and artists from the many diasporic communities.
