Living Water!!! 4/13/25
John 7:37-38 (KJV)
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
WOW!! I am so excited to FINALLY get to post this message-been trying to all week!!!
Again, I humbly apologize for my inconsistency in FAILING to post more regularly-life happen-AMEN!!??
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
when the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
when the funds are low and the debts are high,
and you want to smile but you have to sigh,
when care is pressing you down a bit - rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns.
As everyone of us sometimes learns.”
EDGAR ALLBERT GUESS
There has been several days these past few days and months where I, personally, have struggled to even get off my bed of rest. As WE well know, satan NEVER rests.........
Discouragement, sickness, “cares of this life,” distract and disable us from serving our Lord and Savior and thwarts any and all efforts to seek the Kingdom of God FIRST!!!
BUT, we all know Who wins ultimately!!!!!
John 7:37-38 (KJV)
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
AFTER a particularly difficult day of trial and error I retired for the night-AGAIN tired, defeated and discouraged at the day's events.
Physically, mentally and spiritually WORN OUT. In the words of an OLD Andre Crouch song:
“I TRIED ALL THAT I COULD-SEEMS LIKE NOTHING DID ME ANY GOOD.
THEN I HEARD JESUS-HE WAS PASSING BY
THEN I DECIDED TO GIVE HIM A TRY!!
O IT IS JESUS-O IT IS JESUS-IN MY SOUL!!
FOR I HAVE TOUCHED THE HEM OF HIS GARMENT
AND HIS BLOOD HAS MADE ME WHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
- Andrae Crouch "Oh It Is Jesus" - YouTube
OH IT IS JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
John 7:37-38 (KJV)
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
That very night, in my defeat and discouragement, Jesus passed me by...............
Here is what JESUS showed this old ignorant soul!!!
On the “LAST DAY, THAT GREAT DAY OF THE FEAST”
Please read the whole Chapter of John 7. Jesus came to that “revival” anonymously!!! He merely ATTENDED the feast/religious assembly/revival secretly!
HE was not on stage, was not a dignitary, was not a featured speaker, world famous evangelist or singer, did not have body guards, was not put up in a plush hotel, all expenses paid, did not receive any compensation for being there-Jesus was simply a hungry soul seeking a TOUCH OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sadly, like many of us, he remained hungry and THIRSTY!!! He had been there ALL WEEK and did not receive SPIRITUAL nourishment!!!!!!!!!!!!
SMILE! The reason why is that HE/JESUS was ALL that WE need!!!!
OH IT IS JESUS-OH IT IS JESUS-ITS JESUS IN MY SOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beloved, WHEN we are sorely beaten with and in life:
John 7:37 (KJV)
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
Jesus says:
“LET HIM COME UNTO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” AND DRINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God spoke to me the OLD song:
Fill my cup, Lord;
I lift it up Lord;
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul.
Bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more.
Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole.
TODAY, why don't YOU life your cup up to Jesus and PRAY:
Fill my cup, Lord;
I lift it up Lord;
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul.
Bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more.
Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole.
THEN, and only then will:
John 7:38 (KJV)
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
John 4:15 (KJV)
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
TODAY-RIGHT NOW EVEN AS YOU READ THIS SERMON-PRAY
John 4:15 (KJV)
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
May JESUS fill your cup NOW!!!!
AMEN AND AMEN!!!
God Bless YOU Today!!!
