Food Wagon Mission Needs You!
|
We’re reaching out to our ministry partners with an idea: purchasing a hot dog stand that we make available to the nonprofit groups of Barron County, for use in their fundraising efforts. Scouts, civic groups, school clubs, athletic boosters...we provide the stand and some hot dogs to get them started, they furnish the rest.

February Mission: Baby Bottle Campaign
|
Our February Mission supports the Rice Lake Pregnancy Help Center.
The Pregnancy Help Center helps women and men with counseling, community resource referrals, and holds classes on parenting (the "Smart Parenting Program"). It also helps parents through pregnancy and the first two years of parenting. Parents earn points that can be redeemed for baby and maternity clothing, baby supplies, high chairs and car seats.
To help support this community-based resource,
baby bottles will be available at church.
Fill the bottles with loose change, dollars, or a check, then simply return to church. Thank you! For further questions, please contact Jessica Tischer

Opportunities to wash dishes, sort clothes, greet guests, help with registration, unpack/distribute/load groceries...you'll discover all that and more.

Wednesday, February 26 marks the beginning of a time of year the church calls, ‘Lent.’ Why Ash Wednesday? Why Lent? We believe with all our hearts, that the absolute best way possible to receive the gifts God offers us through our baptism into the death & resurrection of his only Son, is to be purposeful in how we prepare for Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
That’s why we’re encouraging you to grab the whole family, invite a friend, and join us each Wednesday for the next 6 weeks for a simple soup & sandwich supper from 5:30-6:30, followed by the brief mid-week worship from 6:30 to 7pm.

July 21-26.
We believe in this ministry SO MUCH we will gladly help offset the cost of the camp for any LW Ministry Partner
by offering a $100 scholarship.
