Living Word Voices Begins Sept. 3

All adults and teens who love to sing are invited and encouraged to join the choir. We rehearse Wednesday’s from 6:50-7:50pm beginning September 3. LiFT Ladies Retreat

Come join us on Saturday, August 23rd from 9am-3pm at the church. Our theme is "The Lords Prayer". We will be using the Prayer Journals and discussing the 7

Ten Lies Satan Loves to Tell (Mondays, Sept. 8-Oct. 27 6-7pm)

The Story of Abraham (Wednesdays, Sept. 3-Dec. 10 6-6:45pm)

Families in Faith (Wednesdays, Sept. 3-Feb. 11 6-6:45pm) Parenting through the lens of Scripture. Led by Pastor Malinak.

A Time of Prayer

Our monthly prayer group will meet Saturday, Sept. 6th, from 6:30-7:15pm at the church in the Sr. High Room. Come pray with your brothers and sisters in faith.

START - Young Adults Group

We meet Sundays, beginning Sept. 7 through May from 12:30-2pm. Our study will be Strange New World - A study of the era of “expressive individualism” and how to engage in a culture that is hostile to Christian beliefs. Lunch is provided.

Ladies Bible Study

Our new Thursday study begins Sept. 11-Nov. 13, from 6:30-8pm. Our study will be on The Liturgy. 

Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study

Our monthly study begins Saturday, September 13th at 7:30 AM at the church. We will study the Parables of Jesus.

The Academy Via Zoom

Tuesdays, Sept. 16-Oct. 7, 6:30-8 PM

The Academy consists of 12 courses, taught and recorded by Pastors Eibel and Malinak, in which participants, through facilitated discussion, are equipped as missionaries to bring a solid, theological defense of faith with confidence.  In this 4 week video session, Dawn Lewellen will facilitate the class which was taught by Pastor Eibel.

High School Bible Study

Youth grades 9-12 meet Tuesdays beginning September 2 at the Starbucks in Westlake from 7-7:45am. We will study the New Testament.  

Wednesday Night Alive

Begins September 3rd

All kids ages 3 through 5th grade are invited! This is a time of Bible study, music, crafts and fun! It’s a special program designed to develop our walk of discipleship while making lasting friendships. Our theme this year is “Our Journey with God.” Schedule is as follows:

5:30-6:00 PM Dinner

6:00-7:15 PM Wednesday Night Alive! (Preschool-5th Grade)

6:00-6:45 PM Adult Small Groups

6:50-7:50 PM Adult Choir 

Rally Day

Sunday School classes begin September 7th at 10am! Register your child at the table in the narthex if they will be entering the 3 year old class or did not attend Sunday School last year.

Sunday Youth Night

Begins September 7th

Youth grades 6-12 meet Sundays from 5:45-8:15pm, with dinner, games, confirmation/devotional time, and open gym. Schedule below.

   Sr. High only (fellowship time) 5:45-6:15

   Dinner 6:15-6:45

   Lessons 6:45-7:45

   Games 7:45-8:15

Union Gospel Mission Donations 

We will be collecting donated items during the month of August in the box in the

Family Life Center. Items needed:

Ladies: new/gently used purses, lotions, shampoo, soap, feminine products, fingernail polish, costume jewelry, snacks, socks, tissues, daily devotional books, Christian music, book markers, writing pads, pens. 

Men: Underwear, belts, shoes, deodorant, soap, shaving supplies, socks.

Children: backpacks, school supplies, pens, pencils, erasers, notebooks, crayons, coloring books.

FriendSpeak

Fridays, 10-11 AM (Begins 9-26-25)

We have international friends living here in our community from all over the world. We need volunteers to engage in one-to-one English conversation with them at the church. Stories from the Gospel of Mark are used as the content for conversation.
