Sundays December 1-22 4:00 PM 

This timeless classic novel by Charles Dickens invites readers on a transformative journey alongside Ebenezer Scrooge, from a miser consumed by greed to a beacon of generosity and kindness.

Fort Worth Chorale Concert

Life Experienced invites the congregation to join us at the Fort Worth Chorale Concert on Saturday, Dec. 7th, at Fellowship UMC in Trophy Club at 7:30 pm.  If you can’t make that performance, there are two others on Friday or Sunday at different locations where your tickets can be used.  To get the group rate of $20/person, you’ll need to order through the church. Tickets will be available the next two Sundays & Thanksgiving Eve, please see Donna Cruz to pick up/pay for tickets. Young Adult Discipleship

A group of young adults (age 16-22) meet Tuesdays from 7:00-7:45 am at the Starbucks in Westlake.  Our study will provide a deep dive into the Bible, what we believe and why. 

Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study

We meet the 2nd Saturday of every month at 7:30 AM for breakfast and Bible study. Our study is on the Four Gospels.

Start Small Group

This group (ages 22-35) is for those just starting out in life and looking for a way to connect to God and like-minded Christians. We meet Sundays from

500-6:00 pm. We are working through the Book of John.

Internet Safety Class For Parents

Officer Webber from Grapevine PD will be here on Dec. 8th from 6:15-7:45pm to teach parents about how to keep their kids safe on the internet. 

Youth Christmas Program

Sunday, December 15th at 10:10 AM

The congregation is invited to a presentation of the Christmas story led by the youth. Join us in the Family Life Center.

Bethlehem Marketplace Christmas Party

Wednesday, Dec. 18 5:30-7pm

The congregation is invited to journey back with us to Bethlehem and visit a

typical Bethlehem marketplace filled with food, crafts, and fun. Dinner will be served throughout the evening.

College Reunion Party

We will meet Thursday, December 19th from 6-8pm at the church. We will watch Christmas movies and do Christmas themed crafts. Hope you can join us!

Family Caroling

Join us on Saturday, December 21st, at 4 pm for a family caroling event. We will meet at the church, then head out in groups to bring the story of Jesus and joy to church members. We will end at the Coulson home for dinner.  

Wednesday Night Alive Resumes December 4th

All kids ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to “Wednesday Night Alive” - a time of Bible study, music, crafts and fun! It’s a special program designed to develop our walk of discipleship while making lasting friendships. Schedule is as follows:

5:30-6 PM Dinner

6-7:15 PM Wednesday Night Alive! (preschool-5th grade)

6-6:45 PM Adult Small Groups

6:50-7:50 PM Adult Choir

Calling all Bakers - Christmas Cookies for Grapevine PD

We’re looking for 10-12 people to bake a couple dozen Christmas cookies to take to GPD.  Cookies will be needed no later than Sunday, Dec. 8th.  We’ll make goodies bags after late service that day.  If anyone can make gluten-free, we need just a couple dozen.  Bring all cookies to the church kitchen in an air tight baggie or disposable container and marked for GPD.  Click here to sign up.

Angel Tree

We will sponsor an Angel Tree for families at Cannon and Dove Elementary Schools. Stop by the tree in the extended narthex on Sunday, Dec. 8, and pick up your angel. Bring your wrapped gifts to the church by Sunday, Dec. 15.

Mission Trip Opportunity

February 2-16, 2025

Kenya- East Africa. Hosted by our mission partner Holding Hands Africa Holding Hands Africa. You’ll work alongside local community members, visit their homes, and participate in their journey out of poverty, while sharing the love of Jesus. Contact Steve Burke for more information.

Christmas Decorating

We will be decorating the church on Sunday, December 22nd, after the late

service and taking down decorations on January 5th after the late service. Click here sign up.

Poinsettias

Donations of $11 each may be made to purchase poinsettias to decorate the church for Christmas. To purchase, fill out the poinsettia order envelope in the pew rack and place in the offering basket. The Deadline is December 22nd.
