"Flowers in the Desert"
Continues thru February 24th
Led by Pastor Eibel - 10 AM in the Sanctuary
Amidst the desert landscape of the prophets there are gospel flowers of rich beauty. The class will examine the flowers, birthing a new love for the prophets.
Holy Communion Class
Tuesday, February 5th, 6:30-7:45 PM
This class, led by Pastor Eibel in the sanctuary, helps children gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the sacrament. The class is intended for children grades 1-5 and we ask that a parent attend the class. Contact the church office if you would like to attend.
Our Bible study meets Thursday's at 6:45 PM at the church. We study
The Wisdom of God: Seeing Jesus in the Psalms and Wisdom Books
by Nancy Guthrie. This 10-week study of Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Solomon mines the Wisdom Literature not only for wise principles for living, but also for the wise person these books point to through their drama, poetry, proverb, and song-Jesus. Men's Breakfast & Bible Study
Our Men's Bible study is the second Saturday of each month from 7:30-9 AM at the church. This is a wonderful time for the men of Living Word to meet up, share a good meal and fellowship!

We will be having a combined Life Group event on Friday, February 15th, from 6-8 PM at the church. Bring your favorite games for game night. Bring a snack to share. Click here to sign up.
"Aging Backwards" Exercise Class
Meets at the church every Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9:30 AM. Includes low intensity, gentle stretching, and includes a short devotion and prayer together. For both men and women. Contact Barbara Walker at [email protected].

Grapevine Police Appreciation
Sunday, February 3rd & 10th stop by the Family Life Center to write a short note of appreciation to our Grapevine Police Officers. We are giving them lots of snacks and a big card for Valentine's Day.
Pastor Malinak will lead this one-day workshop, held on Saturday, February 9th, from 9-4 PM at the church. You will learn how to naturally share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the people in your everyday life. Learn how to listen, ask non-accusatory questions, and share the Gospel with honesty. Lunch and materials are provided.

Everyday Missionary Course (Daytime)
Steve Burke will lead a five session course on becoming an everyday missionary. Learn to recognize where Jesus is already at work in your neighborhoods and workplaces, and gain the tools to join Him on His mission to reach the lost. Date, time and frequency of the sessions will be determined by the schedules of the participants.

Pick up a box in the narthex after worship on February 10th and 17th to fill with diapers (size 3, 4, 5), new or gently used baby clothing (newborn- 1 yr), wipes, socks, and blankets, pack n play. Donations will go to the three Pregnancy Centers we support. Return the boxes on Sunday Feb. 24th.
GriefShare is designed to help those grieving the death of a loved one find comfort from God's Word. We meet Tuesdays at the church and will go for 13 weeks from 7-8:30 PM at the church. Sessions are "self-contained" so you can attend at any time during the the 13 weeks. Contact Barbara Walker at b

Lutheran's for Life
equips Lutherans to be Gospel-motivated voices for Life, upholding the God-given value of human life and influencing society to do the same. Consider attending the Lutherans for Life Conference here at Living Word on March 23.
Human Trafficking Awareness Event
Sunday, March 3rd at 12:15 pm in the Sr High Youth Room. Carrie Gurley, from our mission partner Valiant Hearts, will share a one hour presentation on the reality of human trafficking in our own backyard, and what we as a church can do about it. Texas has the second highest number of human trafficking cases in the US.
