Youth Night
The youth (grades 6th-12th grade) will meet this Sunday, July 18th from 7-8:30 pm. We will have devotion, snacks and games. Bring your friends!

Beach Fellowship Trip
July 20th-24th (6th grade-College)
We will be heading to the Gulf coast for fellowship, spiritual growth and fun. There will be multiple Bible studies, plenty of beach and other local attractions, and a short mission project. The cost is $150 and covers everything except some meals. You can learn more about how we are following our Phase 3 protocol and social distancing at mylwlc.com under youth events.

Texas Rangers Baseball Game
Youth grades 1-5 are invited to the Rangers game on July 28th. We will meet at the church at 5:30 and carpool to the park. The game starts at 7:05 and there is no cost for the trip. Please sign up by July 21st so that we can get tickets. As it is a late start, we plan on staying to the very end, so if you do not want your child out that late, please plan to pick them up at the park, or chaperone and take them home when you feel is appropriate. We will also need chaperones, so please sign up at mylwlc.com if you can.

College Connections
If you have a student heading off to college in the fall, please email the church at lwlc@lwlc.com their address so we can get them on the college connections mailing list to receive letters and care packages throughout the year from our Sunday School classes.
Everyone His Witness Workshop
Pastor Malinak will lead a witnessing workshop on Saturday, July 17th, from 9-4 PM at the church. You will learn how to naturally share the Good News of Jesus with the people in your everyday life. Learn how to listen, ask non-accusatory questions, and share the Gospel with honesty. Lunch & materials provided.

The Rock Speaks - New Small Group
A new Small Group will begin in July entitled, The Rock Speaks. We all want to trust in Jesus as our rock and salvation, and this study invites you to do exactly that! Based on 1 Corinthians 10:4 "All drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ." This 5 session study will explore sustenance, abundance, life, growth, and more. July 15, 29, August 12, 26 at 7pm.

Everyday Missionary Course
Join us for a five session course on becoming an everyday missionary. Learn to recognize where Jesus is already at work in your neighborhoods and workplaces, and gain the tools to join Him on His mission to reach the lost. Date, time and frequency of the sessions will be determined by the schedules of the participants. Led by Steve Burke.

LIFT (Ladies in Faith Together) Prayerbook
I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my supplications. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live. (Psalm 116:1-2)
LIFT is creating a prayerbook as a resource for the women of LWLC. LIFTed in Prayer is a collection of our prayers covering the ins and outs of life. This is an opportunity to share in the beauty of our sisterhood as we lift together our prayers through different voices, in one body. If you would like to contribute a prayer, go to the LIFT page on mylwlc.com.
 Prayer Groups
Meet for prayer weekly with your Christian brothers and sisters through Zoom. If you prefer not to pray out loud, you can still participate. Please include your availability and you will be notified by Pastor Malinak of the day and time of your weekly prayer group, and who your facilitator will be. Each session of prayer will last 15-30 minutes.

Union Gospel Mission Sack Lunches
We will be assembling sack lunches for the homeless of Union Gospel Mission on Sunday, August 8th, in between services, in the Family Life Center. Please join us!
