Small Groups

Mistaken as Christian - Tuesdays, October 4th-November 8th at 6pm. Scripture warns of false teachers and false prophets...they walk amongst us even today and millions have been led astray.  We will study six modern religious movements which claim to be Christian, why they cannot be considered part of the Church and how we, as Christians, can lovingly share God's Word with them.

Ephesians (13 weeks) Sundays, through December 18 at 7 pm. This study will go through Paul’s beautiful letter to the Church at Ephesus.

Walking in Their Shoes: A Small Group for all ages - Thursdays (once a month through May) at 6 pm. In life we share a common bond of humanity with all people; however, not all of humanity shares in the same life experiences. Once a month, this small group will gather to learn about how others in this world experience life and try “walking in their shoes” for 30 days by immersing themselves in similar experiences. Topics include: food options, technology, available entertainment, clothing and many more.

Wednesday Night Small Groups meet at 6pm

Holding Your Family Together – No matter your child’s age or your family’s unique situation, this study is designed to help you build a home where every person feels loved, valued and heard, opening your hearts to each other and to God.

Marks of a Disciple – We will look at the six defining characteristics of discipleship: prayer, Bible study, fellowship, worship, witness and giving.

START (ages 22-35) - This is a group of single and newly married Christians who are starting out and want to grow in their faith with other Christians. Join us for fellowship and a Bible study.

FriendSpeak

Resumes September 30th

Be a cross-cultural missionary right here in the Family Life Center on Friday mornings. We have international friends living here in our community from all over the world. We need more volunteers to engage in one-to-one English conversation with them from 10-11 am. Stories from the Gospel of Luke are used as the content for conversation. Training is provided. This is fun and easy, and a great way to make a new friend. You are not obligated to come every Friday. Just come when you can. Contact Steve Burke for more information ([email protected]).
