Living Word Voices Begins Tonight!

Families in Faith (Wednesdays, Sept. 3-Feb. 11 6-6:45pm) Parenting through the lens of Scripture. Led by Pastor Malinak.

A Time of Prayer

Our monthly prayer group will meet Saturday, Sept. 6th, from 6:30-7:15pm at the church in the Sr. High Room. Come pray with your brothers and sisters in faith.

START - Young Adults Group

We meet Sundays, beginning Sept. 7 through May from 12:30-2pm. Our study will be Strange New World - A study of the era of “expressive individualism” and how to engage in a culture that is hostile to Christian beliefs. Lunch is provided.

Ladies Bible Study

Our new Thursday study begins Sept. 11-Nov. 13, from 6:30-8pm. Our study will be on The Liturgy. 

Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study

Our monthly study begins Saturday, September 13th at 7:30 AM at the church. We will study the Parables of Jesus.

The Academy Via Zoom

Tuesdays, Sept. 16-Oct. 7, 6:30-8 PM

The Academy consists of 12 courses, taught and recorded by Pastors Eibel and Malinak, in which participants, through facilitated discussion, are equipped as missionaries to bring a solid, theological defense of faith with confidence.  In this 4 week video session, Dawn Lewellen will facilitate the class which was taught by Pastor Eibel.

Life Experienced - Pokeno Night

Autumn is in the air, which makes us all think of Pokeno and Prizeland!! Please join the Kelleys and Rayburns at church in the Sr. High Youth Room on September 20th at 6pm for food, fun, fellowship and prizes. If you are new to Pokeno, don't worry, it's easy to learn.  Please bring your favorite appetizer or dessert. Beverages will be provided. Click here to sign up.

Wednesday Night Alive

Begins Tonight!

All kids ages 3 through 5th grade are invited! This is a time of Bible study, music, crafts and fun! It’s a special program designed to develop our walk of discipleship while making lasting friendships. Our theme this year is “Our Journey with God.” Schedule is as follows:

5:30-6:00 PM Dinner (pulled pork sandwiches, potato patties, fruit/vegetables/ coleslaw, ice cream)

6:00-7:15 PM Wednesday Night Alive! (Preschool-5th Grade)

6:00-6:45 PM Adult Small Groups

6:50-7:50 PM Adult Choir 

Rally Day

Sunday School classes begin this Sunday, September 7th at 10am! Register your child at the table in the narthex if they will be entering the 3 year old class or did not attend Sunday School last year.

Sunday Youth Night

Begins September 7th

Youth grades 6-12 meet Sundays from 5:45-8:15pm, with dinner, games, confirmation/devotional time, and open gym. Schedule below.

   Sr. High only (fellowship time) 5:45-6:15

   Dinner 6:15-6:45

   Lessons 6:45-7:45

   Games 7:45-8:15

High School Bible Study

Youth grades 9-12 meet Tuesdays at the Starbucks in Westlake from 7-7:45am. We will study the New Testament.  

College Connections

If you have a college student, please send their address and picture to the church at lwlc@lwlc.com. The Sunday School classes send cards/gifts throughout the year. 

FTeam Volunteer Opportunity

September 11-14

We are putting a team together from Living Word to bless our Grapevine Community. Contact Steve for more information steve@lwlc.com.

The REC of Grapevine needs volunteers to direct Grapefest attendees to approved parking spots. Shifts are 3 hours, rotating to a different check point every 30 minutes. Volunteers will be under a tent with a chair. This is an easy way to help the community. Registration is here.

FriendSpeak

Fridays, 10-11 AM (Begins 9-26-25)

We have international friends living here in our community from all over the world. We need volunteers to engage in one-to-one English conversation with them at the church. Stories from the Gospel of Mark are used as the content for conversation.

Food Packing Event

Join us Saturday, September 27th at 10 am in the Family Life Center to assemble 20,000 meals in less than 2 hours. There is no cost to participants. We need 100 people. Bring a friend, neighbor, or co-worker. We need 15 helpers to set up at 8:30am. Click here to sign up.
