Living our lives as a Christian goes something like this. When we submit to God, we are told that God has a plan and a purpose for our lives, but most of the time we don’t get all the details on this plan at the same time. These we receive along the way as we look to the Spirit for guidance in discovering our purpose. Join us for worship this week as we examine how we can prosper in God’s will in the in-between times of our lives.

Blessing of the Animals
Blessing of the Animals will be Saturday, October 12 at 10:00am. Bring your furry, feathery, scaly, and slimy pets for a special blessing under Mother Oak in the parking area. Everyone is welcome! Invite your neighbors and friends!

Sweet Heat Cook-Off
A Sweet Heat Cook-Off sponsored by the Fellowship and Hospitality Team is scheduled for Sunday, November 3. The fee is $10.00 to enter your best chili or dessert in the competition. Tickets for the event are on sale for $5.00 each. This gives you the chance to sample all the entries and vote for your favorites in each category.
All Saints' Day
We are creating a video montage of church and family members who have gone on to glory for our All Saints’ Day service on Sunday, November 3. Please scan your photos of family, friends and pets who have passed away and email them to [email protected].
Building What Matters
Our Building What Matters effort has gotten off to a strong start. We have received $5000 in pledges and collected $3050. Please return your pledge cards ASAP so the Board can evaluate our progress toward our goal of $15000. There is a giving level for everyone!
