GENESEE VALLEY QUIZ NIGHT

Hosted by the Genesee Valley Conservancy, Quiz Night consists of teams (of friends, family, co-workers, others) that seek to out-score other teams on questions in roughly 10 diverse categories together with a picture quiz (more on this later). The questions are devised by an experienced group of Quiz Masters.

THE HOLIDAYS

Wander through the winter village to see how people got ready for the holiday season in the 19th century. Interact with the villagers as they demonstrate a variety of activities, including: soap making, candle making, wool spinning and meat preserving. You can even complete some Christmas shopping at the Flint Hill Store.

New Business Spotlight 



THE VILLAGE GALLERY  
Located at 3119 Main Street in Caledonia, The Village Gallery is an art gallery, art library, and studio. The gallery features paintings by owner Bill White and photography by owner Linda White. The art library is open to the public during normal hours on Saturday and Sunday.  
 
The gallery's Annual Community Art Exhibit exhibit is currently on display, and showcases work from local artists. It will be on display from November 1 through December 3rd.

The program features guest performances by  pianists Chiao-Wen Cheng and Jon Gonder.
The concert explores various subsets of the quintet, with Marion Bauer's "Duo  for Oboe and Clarinet", Madeleine Dring's "Trio for Flute, Oboe, and Piano",  and Aaron Copland's "Duo for Flute and Piano", which features new flute  instructor Emlyn Johnson. "To the Dark Wood", a quintet by George Rochberg,  rounds out the afternoon. The concert is free and all are welcome.

Join the Geneseo Symphony Orchestra, the Geneseo Festival Chorus, and featured soloists. 
The poems romp through love, fun, and games for the entertainment of Fortune, the Empress of the world, and are sure to do the same for our audience! Admission is free, all are welcome. D onations will be accepted for the James and Barb Walker scholarship fund.

STUFFED ANIMAL SLEEPOVER

Bring your stuffed animal to the library for a special storytime! When the stories are done, make your stuffed toy a name tag and tuck it in because it's going to spend the night at the library! Return Friday afternoon from 2 PM - 3 PM to pick up your toy and watch a slide show of what they did while the library was closed.

HIKE, BIKE & DINNER PROGRAM

Genesee Valley Greenway
 
Experience hiking or biking the Greenway in Mt. Morris and on the newly opened Sonyea section. Following the hike Pat Coate from Allegany, NY will present a program on "Hiking the Appalachian Trail", followed by a dinner. Please bring your own table service and food to share. The brief Annual Meeting will take place after dinner.
