TURKEY TROT

In it's 8th year, this Memorable Thanksgiving tradition hosted by the Friends of Livonia Education Foundation, Livonia Central School District and the Village of Livonia, benefits the food pantry. There is a 3.4 mile course through the village as well a 1 mile kids course on the high school track.

The annual Arts & Crafts Sale, Santa lighting the Christmas trees in Church Park as well as many local businesses, vendors, artisans and entertainers located throughout the downtown district are an annual delight to our many visitors.

TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY

Kick off the Holiday season with the first annual Village of Livonia Tree Lighting Ceremony. There will be a singing and lighting of the Village Christmas Tree in the Keystone Parking Lot (26 Main Street). Village Christmas Tree donated by Larry Myers Hemlock Hills Tree Farm.

Located at 94 Main Street in Geneseo (around the back of the building), Finger Lakes Cookie Company provides old-fashioned cookies using the finest ingredients. Their cookie products include individual cookies, cookie trays, customized cookies for events,  cookie cakes for birthdays, ice cream sandwiches created with homemade cookies, and other unique cookie products to the Finger Lakes area. Perfect for the Holidays, they also offer gift sets of cookie sleeves, cookie towers and gift cards. 
 
  Finger Lakes Cookie Company donates a portion of the proceeds to support the Livingston/Wyoming ARC program. They also employ Livingston/Wyoming ARC clients to assist in the production of the cookies.

Lynette Bosch will discuss this contextual tradition, focusing on one window by William Morris , a poet, novelist and social activist, who founded Morris & Co. and produced numerous classical stained glass designs.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, NY ROCKS
This is a fun activity of painting small rocks with inspirational and friendly messages/art to enlighten a total strangers day! The goal is to paint rocks and place them throughout Livingston County for people to find. Make sure you include the message, "Post to Livingston County, NY ROCKS FB Group!" on the back of the painted rock. When people find them they can come to the FB group and post pictures.
