Maximum Loan Limit Increase for
GSFA Down Payment Assistance Programs

GSFA is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2026, the maximum loan amount for all GSFA-sponsored and GSFA-managed Down Payment Assistance Programs will increase to $832,750—an increase of $26,250 from the 2025 limit.


This new loan limit applies to:


The updated loan limit will be effective for all loan reservations made on or after January 1, 2026.


Updated Program Term Sheets will be posted soon and can be accessed through each program’s Lender Participation Guide on the GSFA website.
