Ratification Vote Results
This afternoon a couple of members from Local 1 and Local 2 came to the Regina GSU office to count the ballots cast on the company's final offer.
Local 1 saw a huge increase in ballots cast on the final offer ratification, with 90% of active members casting a ballot, this is an increase from the ballots cast on strike authorization in November. Local 2 saw almost the same number of ballots cast in both ballots this Fall, with 77% voter turnout for the ratification vote on the final offer.

39% voted to accept the final offer.

What now?
I will reach out to Viterra and let them know we are ready and willing to return to the bargaining table without delay. Your bargaining committee is ready and will be available to meet right away. It is up to Viterra if they are willing to come back to the bargaining table to negotiate or not.
Tonight, the Local 1 Board of Delegates will meet at 7:00 p.m. to review the results and decide on the next steps. The Local 2 Executive Committee will be meeting on Monday and will do the same thing.
Members will receive additional email updates as news is available. Your elected officers on the Board of Delegates and Executive Committee are your decision makers, talk to them to stay up to date. And ensure they have your contact information so they can let you know what is going on as it happens.
