Hurricanes Helene and Milton brought devastation and stress to all of us along the Gulf Coast, and many of us will be picking up the pieces for some time to come. We've seen how resilient and supportive our community is, and we're honored to be part of that spirit.

We also believe that books - and the people who write them - can offer a special kind of refuge. That's why we're moving forward with our Local Author Book Fair on Saturday, November 9 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. We're thrilled to showcase 18 talented local authors and celebrate the creativity and strength of our literary community. We hope this event can be a moment to come together, connect, and find a little light after the storm.
