Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 6 p.m. is the Prince George's County House of Delegates delegation annual pre-session public hearing on their proposed local bills at the Community College, Largo Student Center, Rennie Forum.
There are 27 proposed bills posted on the delegation's website.
I took the time to review each bill and provide my written testimony to the entire Senate and House Delegation. A copy of my testimony is here:
All of the bills are important, but you can focus on the proposed bills to change the governance of the Board of Education. Other items of interest are the proposal to allow liquor sales at certain movie theaters, speed cameras for MD 210, proposed elimination of property tax credit for certain income-earners and special commissions for Affordable Housing and Environmental Justice to name a few.
