Many of our local child care centers have exhausted their funds for supplies to keep their facilities safe during COVID-19. While we are providing them with supplies whenever resources are available, we continue to need your help, Cabarrus County. If you are able to donate supplies, please email us at: [email protected].
Help Finding Child Care for School-Age Children

If you need child care for school-age children, call 1-888-600-1685 to be connected with options. When you call the hotline, child care referral specialists will provide referrals to licensed child care programs that are open and have vacancies for the age of the child(ren) for whom care is being requested. Availability of child care varies from community to community.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library will mail a FREE, age-appropriate book to your child every month until they are five years old! Build your child's at-home library, help them expand their vocabulary, and grow their excitement for reading! All you have to do is sign them up for the Imagination Library program and wait for their first book to arrive in the mail in about eight weeks!
