LTAP shares LSU's tips on walking, biking safely

At least two students were killed recently while walking around the LSU campus in Baton Rouge.
As a precaution to everyone, the LSU Police Department provides these tips
that we, at the Louisiana LTAP Center, would like to encourage the school authorities
and local governments to share with the public.

the 3-day Local Public Agency (LPA) Training Program classes on November 5-7, 2019 in Alexandria, LA. Join us for 1 day or all 3.

Parish engineers gather for LPESA Fall conference in Charenton
Around 120 attendees, including engineers, supervisors and industry experts attended the Louisiana Parish Engineers and Supervisors Association's (LPESA) Fall Conference held at the Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel in Charenton earlier this month. The LTAP team assisted in organizing and facilitating this conference. Read more.
LTAP Director up in the Northwest for road conferences
Our LTAP Director Steve Strength (left) was in back-to-back conferences up in the Northwest region last month. He attended the Low Volume Roads International Conference held in Kalispell, MT on September 15-18. He then presented a 3-hour workshop on "The Road to Better Signing" at the Washington Road and Street Maintenance Conference in Yakima, WA on September 23-25.
